The Rx.com Mod Team has created this Service Play sub-forum in order to supply an area for Rx Service Play Posters to expand upon their posting topics without creating a logjam in the main forum where the three principle threads are maintained..

Posters can track services here if they care to but we will need any trackers to do so in an accurate and civil manner. We did not create this area for posters to ridicule or bash any services..

You can also discuss who is hot and who is not. The general state of the pay for plays industry and any other subject or topic related to service plays.

You can also create individual threads about specific services and discuss them freely but civilly. Again bashing and abusive treatment of any services will not be tolerated.

Please remember, this forum is not here for regular posters who cap their own games to post ther daily plays. Please use our individual sport forums to post your plays. Professional cappers (those that sell plays) must remain in the Site Promotion Forum.

The Rx.com will not tolerate posters that post false records of any services they track. Please be truthful if you decide to track a particular service.

Lastly The Rx Moderators are appealing to you our everyday posters to report any promotional threads or posts that are made by services or individual touts. No links or contact information to an individual service will be allowed. Just the name of the service. Please report any threads or posts that are promotional attempts by services and touts to use this forum to promote themselves..

Posters can easily report a promotional post by using the triangular Report-a-Post Icon at the bottom left of all post boxes. The poster name of any poster who reports a post that is out of line will be kept strictly confidential.

I will leave this thread open for a month to take questions and do my best to answer them. I will check in daily but am off on Wednesday and Thursday.

I hope this additional Service Play Forum will satisfy those posters that would like to widen the scope of topics relating to service plays and the industry in general to have their own threads. Mods will be liberal as possible regarding topics but this forum was specifically created to allow you more freedom to express your ideas regarding service plays and related subject matter. No off topic threads will be allowed.

Thank you, wilheim

#113 5* New York Giants -3
Minnesota may be off of a couple of wins but this team is still a mess, they got those wins over Washington and Buffalo - the going will be much more difficult against the Giants. Favre is very questionable and it is doubtful he or Jackson will have any success against the viscious Giants defense. New York needs this game big time for playoff reasons and Minnesota has a Monday nighter against Chicago up next which will have their attention much more than this game. Take the Giants to get the win and cover. Thank you and good luck.

Monday's Best NFL Bets

Baltimore Ravens at Houston Texans (-2.5, 46)

It’s gut check time on Monday Night Football for both the Baltimore Ravens and the Houston Texans, as these two fight it out for their right to stay in a decent position in the playoff picture in the AFC.

Obviously, it goes without saying that the Ravens are still in great shape in the conference, as a loss would still keep them a game up on any other challengers for Wild Card slots in the AFC with just three games to play. However, Baltimore still has its sights set on the AFC North crown, and with that would probably come a bye in the first round of the playoffs. It is coming off of that debilitating loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers last week in the dying moments and must rebound quickly to take down a stingy Houston club that has proven it can beat some of the best in the league. QB Joe Flacco might be in for a field day going against Houston’s dreadful secondary, and it is imperative that both he and WR Anquan Boldin have good games. This passing attack only ranks No. 15 in the NFL at 233.2 yards per game, but there is no excuse for Flacco to throw for anything less than 275 yards against the worst secondary in the league. Boldin already has 770 yards and seven scores this year and should improve on those numbers quite a bit regardless of who he is matched up against on the outside.

This is the fourth straight season in which the Texans have been 5-7 after 12 games, and just like last year, the only hope to get into the playoffs is going to be winning out over the last quarter of the campaign. Winning out parlayed with any other loss by the Jacksonville Jaguars and Indianapolis Colts that aren’t to Houston will put it in the playoffs in all likelihood. Head Coach Gary Kubiak knows that this is the toughest task left this year, and a loss in this one, which would be Houston’s sixth in its last seven games, would probably leave him on the unemployment line by the middle of the week. The Texans know that their defense is going to be shredded week in and week out, so the onus is on the offense to make enough waves to win games. Lately, that has been a hard task, as this unit has been held down when it counts most in the fourth quarter. Still, RB Arian Foster is arguably the best rusher in the league, and he is certainly heading to the Pro Bowl in this, his first season as a starter for the Texans. QB Matt Schaub and WR Andre Johnson might not be far behind him. With a trio like this, Houston really should be averaging more than 372.9 yards and 24.0 points per game.

The season is about to come to an end for Houston once again without a playoff bid. Baltimore is just a significantly better team, and whether it chooses to run the ball into the ground with RB Ray Rice, or let Flacco and company air it out, it won’t make a difference. You aren’t getting into a shootout with the Ravens and living to tell about it, and that’s exactly what the Texans are going to find out on Monday Night Football.

Pick: Baltimore Ravens -3

New York Giants vs. Minnesota Vikings (+3.5, 43.5)

Playoff hopes will be on the line on Sunday afternoon at Mall of America Field, as the Minnesota Vikings continue to try to latch onto their feint postseason dreams, as they take on the New York Giants.

The G-Men would love nothing more than to ditch one more competitor in the race for the postseason on Sunday, because we already know that this is going to be a tight one down the stretch. Right now, they are tied with both the Philadelphia Eagles and Green Bay Packers for two playoff spots, one of which will be claimed by a team from the NFC East. The offense is getting healthier for New York, as both WR Steve Smith and WR Hakeem Nicks are going to be back in the fold this week, which is great news for QB Eli Manning. His top two targets have really been the life and soul of this offense at times, and Manning needs them both to improve upon his 2,982 yards and 23 TDs on the campaign. The defense is still never shy about getting after the quarterback, and it doesn’t seem to matter who gets put into the fold. Someone is always doing the job. As a result, this is one of the best statistical ‘D’s in the game, as the Giants are allowing just 290.8 yards per game, No. 2 in the NFL.

We know that the Vikes are going to need an absolutely miracle that includes winning out to get into the playoffs this year, but we have certainly seen stranger things happen as NFL betting fans. We’ve heard the script before several times this season that this might be the week that QB Brett Favre loses his Ironman streak of consecutive games played, so we are assuming that he will be in the lineup in spite of the fact that he is listed as a game time decision with a shoulder injury. His top offensive lineman, G Steve Hutchinson has a bruised shoulder and might not be able to go as well. WR Percy Harvin is likely out again with concussions, but at least Favre will get the chance to throw to WR Sidney Rice. Rice had a great game last week, getting to the 100 yard barrier for the first time in almost an entire year, as last year’s Pro Bowler missed the first half of this season with a hip injury. The defense for Minnesota has allowed just 27 total points in its last two games combined, and this is the unit that is really going to have to step up to beat the Giants.

We look at this game and we see the NFC Championship Game all over again for Favre and the Vikes. The difference is, No. 4 isn’t going to be able to get up off the mat after taking such a thorough beating. New York’s defense will be the difference in this one, as the Vikings get mathematically eliminated from the playoffs.

Pick: New York Giants -2.5
